if you want a pet snake then i say you get a corn snake or garter snake. but if you want a python then you need a huge cage. if you get a small python then it will get huge in a short time. then you will send it back to is home. but were is its home??? you may just send it to the ever glades. but that makes the python eat all the small animals. that makes other animals die!.

some snakes live in the sea, others on the ground, others in trees, some underground. some even glide from tree to tree!. small pythons stay in trees because they have a lot of predators. but huge ones are mostly on the ground because they have mostly no predators. anacondas love the water. worm snakes live underground. but if they are not underground they are hidden somewhere. beaked sea snakes can stay under the water for 5 hours.
